Where It Started
Opening its doors on January 21, 2008, at 6800 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Angelos Deli Cafe quickly became a Tampa favorite. For 10 years, our family proudly served Latin, Italian, and American dishes, becoming especially known for our handmade empanadas and Cuban sandwiches.
After a decade in the restaurant, our journey continued through catering, allowing us to keep serving the Tampa community with the same food, tradition, and family care that started it all.
Transition To Catering
After moving into catering, Angelos grew into one of Tampa’s most trusted caterers, earning over 5,000 five-star reviews on ezCater. We continued serving the same favorites from Angelos Deli Cafe, especially our empanadas and Cuban sandwiches. For years, customers told us, “You should open an empanada and Cuban spot.” That idea became our next chapter.
The Next Chapter
Today, that next chapter is Angelos Empanadas. Built from years of family tradition, catering experience, and the dishes our customers never stopped asking for, we’re bringing our handmade empanadas and Cuban sandwiches back in a new way. Same recipes, same care, and the same family behind it all.
